    Myra Victa

Myra Victa is originally from the Bay Area in Northern CA. At 19 years old, she started a career in the financial services industry and soon became the youngest Marketing Director in her firm. She was able to travel to different cities and countries, learn about personal development, and get a taste of the business world at a young age. At 24 years old, she realized that while chasing success in her career, she had neglected her health and wellbeing. In 2016, she originally pursued her NASM personal trainer certification in order to apply the knowledge to her own life, but soon realized that she could help many others who were also finding difficulty in losing weight and keeping it off. She broke away from the financial industry and became a personal trainer in a big box gym, where she trained for 1.5 years and specialized in fat loss clients. Today, she enjoys living in the Bay Area and works as an online coach. Get to know her better on IG @myravicta

    Rachel Pendakur

Rachel Pendakur grew up near Portland, Oregon, but has lived in San Diego since 2010. She holds a B.A. in Psychology as well as a B.A. in Music, and is currently working toward her M.A. in Psychological Science. Rachel came to love strength training during her high school years. During her college years, she neglected proper training until an injury prompted her to seek out professional help with rehabilitation. The process of recovering from an injury, as well as improving form to prevent future problems, re-ignited her love of training and prompted her to continue learning. Since her Masters program began, her research areas of interest have centered heavily on health psychology as well as habit formation and methods of increasing adherence. She is passionate about educating and partnering with individuals who want to reach and sustain their goals. Rachel jumped at the chance to work with Sohee as an in-person training client in the Spring of 2018, and has since consistently enjoyed the style of training that is integral to the ELT Method. She not only has greatly benefitted from Sohee’s mentorship, but has also has seen a huge amount of training progress using an approach focused on moderation and sustainability. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS). During her free time, she runs a private piano studio where she uses her classical performance background to train children and adults of all ages. She also loves to try new San Diego restaurants, go on walks and hikes, or just relax with her dog and a good book. Get to know her better on IG @rpendakur

    Brian Waddell

Brian Waddell was born and raised in Tampa, Florida where he still resides today. He started his career in Digital Marketing where he was well-known as the “health guy” that his coworkers could turn to for fitness advice. After about a decade in marketing, he decided to follow his true passion in health and fitness. This new path led to Brian attaining both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from the University of South Florida. It was at USF where Brian became immersed in research that revolved around body composition, strength training, and exercise psychology. The four years he spent at USF allowed him to sharpen his skills in training people to build muscle, lose fat, increase aerobic endurance, and most importantly, to a program. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) as well as a Certified Sports Nutritionist (ISSN). His favorite exercises are weightlifting, mountain biking, cycling, running, kayaking, hiking mountains, and walking with his two dogs.
