Hi there and welcome! I’m Sohee Lee Carpenter, an evidence-based fitness coach and author based in sunny Los Angeles, California. I’m here to simplify the science of fitness and behavior change for you. There’s no one-size-fits-all strategy to approach your training and nutrition; I know that you have your own needs and goals, and I want to make fitness work for you, not the other way around.

Lauren Blanco

Lauren Blanco is Savannah, Georgia born and raised, where she lives with her two rescue pups. She holds a B.S. ed in History from Georgia Southern University (go, Eagles!), where she also minored in queso dip, late night Waffle House, and avoiding anything related to exercise. Many years later, her passing interest in losing weight took a turn as her then-boyfriend coaxed her off the treadmill and underneath a barbell. She spent his 2011 deployment to Afghanistan earning an honorary degree in broscience and eating clean, which her friends and family have luckily forgiven her for. In 2013, a chance mention on social media prompted her to join Sohee’s first round of women’s group coaching, and there was no turning back.

Today, she aims to keep a balance between her focus on healthy living and a deep, deep appreciation for good wine and new restaurants. She enjoys spending time in the kitchen trying new recipes and feeding people in true Southern style, taking long walks with her dog, deadlifts, hunting for the elusive perfect yoga pant, and mentally adopting every shelter dog on her Facebook feed.

Jennifer Belser

Jennifer Belser resides in Hoboken, NJ just on the other side of the Hudson River from New York City and has a B.A. in English from the University of Delaware. After college, she worked at some of the most prestigious modeling agencies in the world including Next, Wilhelmina, and Q, with a jump into the editorial world as the Bookings Editor of O, the Oprah Magazine. For over 9 years, she worked as a NYS Licensed Esthetician with a specialty in Laser Esthetics, where she spent her time helping her clients look and feel beautiful.

As Jenni turned 35, she realized that she could look and feel so much better, so she hired a local personal trainer to help her reach her goals. In the fall of 2014, she decided to kick things up a notch and not only look and feel better, but get strong and focus on maintainable nutritional goals. She picked Sohee as her coach and hasn’t looked back since! She realized that feeling strong is awesome…not to mention becoming obsessed as to how lifting helps that booty! Jenni is constantly educating herself across all topics in the fitness industry and recently obtained her NASM CPT.

As Operations Manager, Jenni spends her time making sure that Sohee’s business runs smoothly and efficiently by managing her merchandise, online store, website, and other day-to-day business concerns.

In her spare time, Jenni loves 90’s rock, the band Tool, watching cat videos and makeup tutorials on YouTube, and trying new restaurants in the city with her boyfriend, Joe.
