A fitness program is not considered successful if it’s not sustainable. In other words, your 12-week before/after transformation pictures may be amazing, but what about 2 weeks after the fact? 6 weeks? 12? I think a lot of times we tend to focus too much on the immediate, short-term results rather than taking the long-term view of something and deciding premature that it “works”. A question I like to have my clients ask themselves is, “Can I see myself eating this same way a year from now?” If the answer is no, whatever results you’ve achieved thus far won’t last. Sooner or later (probably sooner, actually) you’ll find yourself backtracking and undoing all the progress you’ve busted your ass for. And oftentimes, you’ll end up in worse shape than when you began. Whoever said that extreme measures – restricted food list, demanding workouts, over-reliance on cardio – was the key to success has it all wrong. GURUS, I’m talking to you. Shame on you. Shame, shame.

YouTube channel has been re-started. Yesterday I went back to my YouTube account and deleted everything – all the content, all videos, all subscribers. This was a necessary step to change my username (from my personal account to SoheeFit), so I figured I might as well do it now rather than 5 years down the road. I’ve begun uploading some exercise videos – more for my clients, but I’ve made it freely available to the public as well – and will be adding more in the coming months. My goal is to have a comprehensive database by the end of the summer, plus perhaps some vlogs later down the road. Any suggestions you have as far as specific exercises you’d like demoed or topics you’d like me to babble on about are welcome.

Do you have a Jacked Pack? Last spring, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the co-founders of Jacked Pack, Alex Lewis. I’ve talked about them before. Springtime allergies, I hate you. Yeah, that’s all I have to say about that. Swollen and bloodshot eyes are not cute, let me tell you that.

Finishers are the bane of my existence. Metabolic finishers, that is. They’re short, they’re sweet (actually, not really), and they’re a hell of a lot more fun than steady-state cardio. I don’t remember the last time I went out for a run or even a “leisurely jog” and I don’t plan on doing that any time soon. It’s like I have PTSD after my eating-disordered cardio bunny days.

I keep it simple. And intense.

Working under BioLayne LLC has been an incredible blessing. It’s already been over a month since I joined forces with Layne Norton under his company, BioLayne LLC, and it’s been too fun.
