I’m Sohee Carpenter, an evidence-based fitness coach and author based in sunny Los Angeles, California. I’m here to simplify the science of fitness and behavior change for you. There’s no one-size-fits-all strategy to approach your training and nutrition; I know that you have your own needs and goals, and I want to make fitness work for you, not the other way around.

My Approach to Fitness

It’s not about blindly going harder; I teach you how to do fitness smarter. Instead of running you into the ground, I’m all about utilizaing an effective, lasting approach the involves picking up positive health habits and improving your overall midnset – all while living your life. You can have your fitness cake and eat it too, with a carefully structured plan.

PhD student in sports science through the distance program at Auckland University of Technology (AUT)

MS in psychology from Arizona State University (2018)

BA in human biology with a concentration in psychosocial and biological determinants of health from Stanford University (2012)

Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with distinction through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS,*D)
